Sarah

Hi! I’m Sarah, a stay at home mom to 3 sweet kids ages pre-k to jr. high. We are a world school family, which means we travel the world while doing our school work. I love to be outside in nature, taking walks or hikes, trying new crafts, and reading books for the couple book clubs I am part of. I’m a former teacher & I’m always learning new things with my kids every day. Happy travels

  • Switzerland surpassed all of my expectations. I was 6 months pregnant when we took a trip to Zermatt and Interlaken, but that didn’t stop me from hiking through the Swiss Alps, took funiculars up the mountains, learned about local culture, and tried new foods. The glass train was an epic ride, and Switzerland has so much to do-even in July!

  • I love a good fettuccini Alfredo at a local Italian place called Amore.

  • I never travel without my goodr sunglasses, a notebook and pen, and oncloud shoes.

  • Greece -and we’ll be going this year!

    Japan is next on the list though!

  • The Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Interlaken Switzerland. They have incredible rooms and the most beautiful pool I've ever swam in!

  • Always get your cash exchanged at the bank before hand to have cash for tips, and lower exchange rates than at the airport. Eat healthy the day of flights. Go with the flow, try new things, and know that your plans probably won’t all go as planned.

Hi, I’m Aaron! I love learning new things, lately this includes learning to sail, and learning how to mix house music (think DJ-ing). I am always reading history, and watching documentaries on history. You can find me using all that history knowledge teaching our 3 kids. I am the main travel planner in the family. I’m always looking for the next best flight deal. Happy travels

  • Last summer Sarah and I took a roadtrip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks (Be sure to check out our blog post to read more).   • I'm a traveller who prides himself on traveling light. But, I can't travel without a new pair of On Cloud shoes.

  • Hiking through Southern Argentina and Patagonia has been a dream of mine since childhood.

    I'd also like to visit the Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

  • The Hotel Del in Coronado outside San Diego, California has been one of my favorite hotels for years. Every time I stay at the red roof Victorian mansion with massive white wrap around porch it transports me to the era when Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis lit the silver screen!

  • When I travel, I surround myself with like minded travelers who appreciate trying local cuisine, exploring new cultures and conversing with the locals. To do that, I've always followed the advice my grandfather gave me: "Keep going, try everything, no complaints". Also, always drink tons of water before, during, and after you fly!
