Colorado - Skiing in Steamboat and a western take on après-ski.

Ski with the family in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, stay at the Steamboat Grand, eat at Cafe Diva and Snowshoe at Fish Creek Falls.

Our family’s trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, was a winter wonderland adventure. Arriving at the luxurious Steamboat Grand, we were greeted with warm smiles and stunning mountain views from our room. The resort’s ski-in/ski-out access made hitting the slopes effortless, allowing us to maximize our time carving through the powder. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed the hotel’s heated outdoor pool—a blissful retreat for tired muscles.

Dining is an essential part of any getaway, and we didn’t want to miss out on the rave-recommended Cafe Diva. This cozy eatery offers decadent options, and I highly recommend their walleye special paired with a heavenly glass of wine. The ambiance is intimate, making it perfect for family dinners after a long day on the slopes. The staff’s attention to detail and the gourmet flair elevate the experience to something truly memorable.

During our stay, we also ventured out for snowshoeing at the nearby Fish Creek Falls. This popular activity allowed us to explore the serene winter landscape while soaking in the beauty of the frozen falls. The trail was accessible for all skill levels, making it a great family outing.

Steamboat Springs is not just about skiing; it’s about creating memories together amid breathtaking scenery. Anticipating our next visit already!
